Dark green Austin America, from British Motors on Van Ness in San Francisco. Had a manual choke you had to pull out. When we got it, we hadn’t mastered the choke and didn’t put it back in early enough and the car stalled at rush hour on the corner of Columbus and Broadway. British Motors sent mechanic out. Tiny yet spacious. That particular car was a lemon. Trying to relive experience, but in a good way, with my MINI.
